Herschell Barker Brand Story -

Artisans, makers and other creatives constantly move from the workshop to the front desk. Their work does not allow them to be just one thing and they are repeatedly needed in various roles that range from managerial to craftsperson.

I acknowledged this setback early on in my craftsman career where I started as a baker and had to change into my work clothes when I got to work every day. This problem followed me when I changed jobs and became a mechanic and later on, a printer and production manager at a local glass awards manufacturing company. With time, all my experiences led me to a conviction that I needed to create clothes for people just like me.

Herschell Barker was then birthed from the need to provide such people with fashionable workwear that they can confidently wear in not only the workroom and business meetings but in the outside world as well. It aims to satiate creatives’ passion for fashion while giving them a functional wardrobe that serves its purpose in their busy lives.

Whether that person is a mid-level manager, a building contractor, an engineer or a painter, they can find appropriate clothing they can wear under this lifestyle brand. Beyond the clothes one wears, Herschell Barker seeks to sustain interconnectedness through the creation of other lifestyle products.
